Derek is a fantastic swim coach. He have me several useful drills and coached me to improve my stroke immediately. I am looking forward to continue to work with him. He is patient, clear, and encouraging.

It has been great working with Derek since he first reached out to schedule our first swimming lesson. He is very friendly and he showed concern to make sure I had everything I needed for my first lesson; he brought swimming fins and hand pads (don’t know the technical name!) a pair of googles for me to use just in case my new ones didn’t fit and even gifted me a swimming cap from St James! The lesson was kind of an evaluation of my swimming where he recommended tips to improve on each swimming style. The lesson was a great work out as well! Overall, a great experience and I look forward to my next swimming lesson with Derek!
